    Here is some notes I've taken: - anyone who is attacking you especially when you're upping yourself in wealth is trying to up their status and of those they like against putting you down in status or dragging you down and even lower to their level - being wealthy is a skill set that you master but is not based on luck, because there is no luck religiously because what's there is the God promises of blessings and increasing wealth in all forms not just money to those who work and also other promises to who work and put in effort and work and are not lazy regardless if they are believers or disbelievers and also opportunities and advantages given by the God - the only basics is to have a functional body and a functional mind, so you don't really have an excuse - you'll not get rich by selling your time, you need to own equity and business fully or at least partly. because nobody is going to pay you a lot even if it's a lot in comparison with other people as they'll pay you the minimum they are comfortable to pay you both personally and legally as they want and can. you're not adding real changing value, your input is not equal to your output, and you are replaceable, and you're not freely creative - you need to start and work on a business and even at least professions where your output surpass or is at least equal to your input so what you do is not attached to the time you put into it. thus don't look at kind of work where your input and output is highly related - live below your means, even fight the urge to upgrade your lifestyle unless you really need to rather than want to regardless of what you think and others' opinions. therefore you get to have freedom rather than living tight with gains and spending - you get rich by giving society what it want but they don't know how to get it, and give it to them at scale. thus they'll pay you for creating something that they don't know how. it's all about innovation and it's all about being a leader in things and in work and in business and in everything - first you create something because you need it or want it, you do so by being creative, then you figure out how to give it to others and you do scaling it to many others and you monetize it - the internet is an advantage as it always you to scale whatever niche thing even if it's weird though it you can scale to a lot of people as long as you're the best at what you do and because people are different then you're unique thus you're the best at what you do by being authentic without focusing on copying others and competing with the others as no one can competing with the authentic you - it's better to pick an industry where you'll work on long term by relying on building your reputation and building trust with others who are involved. otherwise anything on the short term is people trying to take advantage and backstab each others to make themselves rich, but on the long term then it's likely we get each others rich by working with each others - you need to be smart and with high energy, too have people who both of these apply to them especially being smart while considering that high energy has to do with their motivation if they're motivated in doing what they work on - it's important to pay attention to signals of what people do regardless of what they say as it reveals their true selves

    • @amine1237
      @amine1237 День назад

      - self esteem and having high self esteem is the reputation that you've with yourself and is what makes you feel that you're living up to your morals, values and principles - it's okay to shoot holes at things as long as you come up with a solution meaning any of your criticism must have constructive feedback otherwise no need for it. also do not have near you in your life especially at anything you're working on such kind of people. so live and work with the principle that "I lead, other can follow me or get out of my way", but there is no other options than these - to make money, you need to be paid at scale meaning making something and selling it to a lot of people - never lose the desire to learn nor allow its flames to get extinguished - focus on mathematics and logic. it's all about numbers even in finance, and also about logic for everything from understanding to algorithms - the five most important skills are reading, writing, arithmetic, persuasion which talking, and computer programing. being good with computers, basic mathematics, reading and writing then you set for a good life - you need to keep a good reputation as it's important for business to have a good reputation at it with a trust-able integrity that to maintain in order to be trusted - you can leverage different things depending on the era you're living in other than your time, effort, others' time and their effort. that's why avoid the leverage of people's labor because it's risky to manage and lead others thus have the least amount of people working with you as much, don't even also count on leveraging others' capital and money because it's tricky especially regarding getting it yet it's better than leveraging labor of others. thus the best and new form of leverage is leverage products meaning products meaning producing something such as software, recording something like podcast and videos, and literally anything else where you make once and then distribute to so many people on available distribution channels which doesn't require a lot of labor from others even reducing it by using robots and bots, and too not much of capital - always seek advantage in education and learning especially even if it means relocating, getting closer and acquiring a language where what you learn is being taught from originally and where it's being actively developed. otherwise you get at a disadvantage - as you layer in more and more kind of knowledge especially that can be only gained with experience rather than common knowledge, and you layer in accountability of work personal and professional, and you layer in risk taking, and you layer in more and more competent people working on it, and you layer in more and more capital on it, and you layer in more and more code and media on it, and you keep on expending the scope of opportunity - so from specific knowledge to accountability to leveraging then judgement. judgement is important thus once you've leverage then you've got to slow down on using your leverage and that's why you use your judgement to lead your usage of specific knowledge and accountability and leverage so demonstrating your judgement and making credibility of your judgement will likely assure that you succeed and even if you lose then you can get back up stronger. therefore learn especially studying a variety of things specifically philosophy, practice and most importantly get into real world experience in order to build your better judgement so that your judgement becomes the best, and judgement is nothing but the exercise of your wisdom which comes from experience which this experience can be accelerated through short term iterations meaning trying a lot at small things over and over. for better judgement do make sure to not let your emotions cloud your logic because logic is super important for it - accept that nobody is going to value you especially they won't value you more than the value you treat yourself, thus treat yourself with the value you know yourself value it thus treat yourself. therefore do not tolerate you to treat yourself at anything less than your value thus do not argue and accept anything less from others offering you less than it even if it means to figure out other means. a method to do so is to set an hourly rate for yourself, it should be so high that you don't really find it logical thus if otherwise then it's not high enough - you need to work hard as hard as you can, yet your hard work is not a substitute to who you work with nor to what you work on. these three are the legs of your success - surround yourself with the best possible, yet never settle as there would always be people who are better so move onto surround yourself with them

    • @amine1237
      @amine1237 День назад

      - as long as you've accountability as good reputation and integrity in the industry you operate in then the more easier it's to be forgiven for your failures thus you must take greater risks - when you've your inspiration then do it right then and there as do not delay it so act on it - solve your problems as soon as possible and as quickly work on it as it happens - a busy calendar and a busy mind will destroy you ability to work and do amazing things thus you need free time and a free mind to do so - when you're searching for what to do and be best at as you must be best at what you do then you've to keep on discovering and trying different things while being flexible in discovering it even if it's a long journey - don't count on general advice circulating around people yet also e find a balance as not to venture into things where there is not much info circulating about, therefore you could operate in a business where there not much competition and where there is something going on like if there's little competition - be authentic and specialize in being you rather than in professions and anything else overall - even if you've all factors of success at anything, yet it always does take time because immediate doesn't work as the world is not an efficient place so there is not shortcuts that might only likely be exceptions - equation of your eventual outcome (to succeed) = distinctiveness of your specific knowledge X how much leverage you can apply to that knowledge X how often your judgement is correct X how singularly accountable you are for the outcome X how much society values what you are doing. THEN compound everything with how long you can keep doing it and how long you can continue improving it through reading and learning - you can find what you're good at according to people whom you trust which the market also values. because if you're good at something and you like doing it then you'll thrive - a calm mind, a fit body and a house full of love with good relationships are true blessings of the God that you must cultivate and earn and be grateful for - completely ignore business journalist and academic economics because they're professional critics but not really have hands on experience in what they critic. if you do then learning from them will make you dumber, that's why behave with the concept and valid people with it that if a person wants to become a "philosopher king" then first they must become a king for experience it then they can become a philosopher - to succeed in business over the long-term becoming wealthy, then what you do must be authentic to you as in it's yourself that you're projecting into it and also must scale it. so making money is a function of your identity and what you like to do, it's who you are stamp out many multiple times - find three hobbies, one that makes you money, one that makes you fit and one that makes you smarter - accountability means that you've to stick your neck out and fail publicly and let people nitpick at you so let people criticize you while learning how to ignore them and do ignore them otherwise you won't survive - do not believe it's unfair to do things just because others don't have the same opportunities and advantages that you do. the best thing you can do is to take advantage of what opportunities that you've access to and advantages that you have, and use them to the best of your ability then use the winnings to make a dent in the world in fixing it - being an entrepreneur is not only running a business, it's about being a leader so it means being an entrepreneurial by controlling your life - you'll do better at smaller organizations than bigger ones - if someone is above you then learn from them, if someone is below you then teach and mentor them otherwise get a robot, a bot or an animal or two of them or all of them - being ethical is really highly rewarding in the long-term because people would want to work with you and have deals with you even entrust you for their deals in return of gains for you just so that they've your ethnically in the picture , but in the short-term it is not - if you want to do something right then do it yourself because nobody else cares enough as much as you do - if you can work on incentives then don't work on anything else other than incentives. use incentives to get people to do things - act like an owner at anything you do thus it's only a matter of time before you become an owner - it's better to not work with bigger entities for business because bigger ones even if they're experienced yet they don't care as much as the other ones that are smaller as these have way more stake in succeeding with you thus they care more - don't risk everything and don't have all your eggs in the same basket - negotiations are won by the person who cares less, it's about not wanting something too badly because if you do then they'll extract more from you for it, and if you do care more than them and they're taking advantage of you caring then turn the negotiation into long-term negotiation - it takes same effort to build a small business as same as to build a big business therefore think big - try to learn something that people haven't figured out how to teach it yet, this is done in an apprenticeship model by finding something that has a steep learning curve and avoid things such as jobs and things that are repetitive - even if you are not the founder to care yet if you do care you'll get to learn things that'll set you up for success in the future as a founder yourself - people don't know how to measure output of others so they measure their input, yet it's not always linear so it can be wrong as this was taken from farming where the input of how many hours and effort spent on farming does highly affect the results of the return of crops yet it's not the same for everything else - specific knowledge is the skills that you learn by experience and is what you ask people about yet they've not direct explanation as it's something that's learnt by experience rather than outlined or organized in text book. having a specific knowledge is an advantage for success at whatever you do

    Sorry Naval, outcome is not a good indicator of intelligence. Plus most people get what they want out of life (consciously or subconsciously) Do agree w/ you regarding being a scientist w/o a phd

    • @2godbeinfiniteglory
      @2godbeinfiniteglory 3 дня назад

      Best way to debunk his idea is to provide an alternative indicator, and you sir have not provided one...+ confident he was referring to an intentional want as a conscious approach

    • @mzakir4122
      @mzakir4122 3 дня назад

      @@2godbeinfiniteglory too many fools think they know what they want (conscious want), only to act in ways that indicate otherwise (subconscious need). But as the wise Ed Seykota once famously said, everybody gets what they want out of the markets (which can be arguably extrapolated to life).

    • @2godbeinfiniteglory
      @2godbeinfiniteglory 3 дня назад

      @mzakir4122 feels like what we're talking about now hinges on a basic argument of whether free will exists or not. I believe free will exists but in a bounded way....therefore people do have a degree of conscious involvement on what their destinations will be if they have responsible pursuits...and arguably the one that can navigate to a destination they consciously find fulfilling could be better than those that end in destinations they loth....with the former being smarter

    • @mzakir4122
      @mzakir4122 3 дня назад

      @@2godbeinfiniteglory IMO, it takes grit, determination, and good luck to land on the right side of the outcome probability curve (yes, it's not black and white...even well-intentioned, smart folks get screwed by the sheer statistical distribution of outcomes...being smart can help shape that curve though I'll admit, though other factors could potentially play a bigger role, such as persistence, passion, and hard work). Regarding the subconscious overriding conscious intent, I don't believe this implies a lack of free will - it's more of a misalignment within the mind. To align the two also takes a lot of purposeful work.

    • @2godbeinfiniteglory
      @2godbeinfiniteglory 2 дня назад

      @mzakir4122 The plot twist could be that what we identify as smart from a popular societal perspective might be off...I think that's what makes Naval's statement carry weight for me....because his challenging the status quo and emphasises that there is no sure way to know...IQ tests? articulate speakers? creators/inventors? Just because these individuals display what we deem as smart attributes doesn't mean they are actually smart or that they get what they want out of life. Also I think you're right, lucky outcomes happen to stupid people too...but I also think those that apply conscious effort and have some control on compounding wins despite losses...ultimately culminate into their intended outcome materializing stand in a league of their own.

Whether im hearing it wrong or whatever, you cant tell that to the masses when you havent gone through the war.
